web design, NY
I never tire of saying how gratifying it is to have the honor of redesigning a website, especially when it’s for such a good cause.
Manhasset CASA, a local nonprofit organization, working within the Manhasset community as a resource to reduce underage use of drugs and alcohol approached us looking for affordable web design services.  I was excited to take this project on with confidence knowing the new website would be a valuable resource for parents and students.
While a job of this magnitude can be daunting, CASA members assigned to the website project helped make the process successful and fun.  Plenty of heart-and-soul and strategy went into this vast website project.

The Details

  • The old website was cluttered with valuable content, buried and impossible to find.
  • Because content such as articles and press releases were to be added on a regular basis, we choose a powerful WordPress template perfect for blogging.
  • Out went the boxed template and in came a full-width theme appropriate for the massive amount of content.
  • We picked a color pallet which works with the organization’s logo.
  • Everyone loves an image slider, and the homepage including other interior pages showcases the organization’s critical programs and initiatives.
  • Website is now responsive – meaning the site performs well on mobile devices.
  • And as always, the websites we build are user-friendly; after completion, board members benefited by participating in a training session which enables them to independently blog and add other necessary content.
